The 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai were a series of coordinated terrorist attacks in 2008.The coverage of 26/11 attacks by the television channels in India came under severe criticism for not bothering about the after-effects. The channels more than helped the terrorists by showing 'everything' without bothering about the impact it would create on the security concerns. As a result, the security personnel and their plans were exposed to the terrorists by the channels. The Indian Print media's coverage of the terror attacks was more balanced and ethical than that of electronic media. Print media, due to the nature of the medium as such, could give detailed analysis of the events and had time to verify the facts, unlike the channels which had to rush with their reports and had to always concentrate on 'being the first in the race'. That is why, doing a detailed study of the coverage of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks by the print media in India becomes quite essential. This book is a thorough study that involves a content analysis of the newspapers as well as survey with the people.
