Biografía del autor

Michel Lanclos was born in Morgan City, Louisiana and moved to Opelousas, Louisiana at the age of 13. She graduated in 1984 and attended a business college where she received a diploma in Accounting. She married David Lanclos III at the age of 22 in 1989.

Her husband served in the United States Marine Corp. and was stationed in San Diego, California and Honolulu, Hawaii. After three years, David received an honorable discharge and they moved back home to Opelousas, Louisiana.

She worked at a law firm in the accounting department for one year. In 1994, she gave birth to twin boys, Joshua and Jordan, and 1998 gave birth to Sienna. When Sienna began kindergarten, Michel went back to LSU at Eunice and University of Louisiana at Lafayette and graduated Summa Cum Laude in Elementary Education.

On April 16, 2012, she became a widow. She became a foster mother for the state in 2013 and fostered a little girl for one and half years. On December 19, 2014, Annabell was adopted into their family.

Michel currently teaches at an elementary school in Opelousas, LA. She attends and serves in children’s ministry at Our Savior’s Church in Opelousas. She leads a single mom’s life group and facilitates a healing group focusing on abuse.
