Reseña del editor:
“What was your most interesting ... weirdest ... scariest ... funniest ... favorite case?”
In every one of the thousands of radio, TV and print media interviews he’s been the subject of since the early 1980s, Professor Loyd Auerbach has been asked this question. Yet with only a few exceptions, his cases have not appeared in any of his books.
In his new book A PARANORMAL CASEBOOK parapsychologist, paranormal investigator, author, professor, speaker and psychic entertainer Loyd Auerbach informs and entertains his readers with presentations of some of his most interesting cases from his more than 25 years of investigation. The cases run the gamut from intelligent entities to imprints of past events, from mysteriously moving objects to unusual though normal events mistaken for paranormal ones.
He’ll focus much attention on some of the more public locations he’s so often seen walking through on the many TV shows on the paranormal he’s appeared in – providing more stories and details of these investigations than one could ever get from TV. And will include Auerbach’s personal experience of the paranormal.
All of this will be wrapped in a framework providing insight into the mind of a paranormal investigator as readers learn not only what parapsychology in general thinks of these happenings, but Auerbach’s own beliefs and opinions of the phenomena and how his investigations have shaped his personal conclusions about an afterlife and psychic experience.
As with most of other books, Auerbach will also provide advice regarding how to judge how professional the self-professed ghost hunters are, where the major research centers and resources to contact are, and some of his personal recommendations for readings of other folks’ ghost stories and books about the paranormal.
Delve into the world of the man the San Francisco Chronicle called “The Sam Spade of Real Ghostbusters” in A PARANORMAL CASEBOOK: Ghost Hunting in the New Millennium by Loyd Auerbach (who’s also known as Professor Paranormal).
