Jeff Lemire is an alternative comics writer and artist whose trilogy of Essex County graphic novels 'Tales From the Farm', 'Ghost Stories' and 'The Country Nurse' have won extensive critical acclaim, and enabled Lemire to win a Xeric Grant - awarded to up-and-coming talents in independent cartooning - in 2005. The Nobody is his first mainstream work.
