This major new work is the second part of an important new series, Early Responses to Hume's Writings, a collection of 18th and 19th-century critical publications on Hume's philosophical, political, economic and historical writings. The themes of the two volumes printed here are the replies to Hume's metaphysical philosophy and epistemology.
