Central England & Wales Road Map (A-Z Road Map)

The Great Britain Road Map series covers the whole of Great Britain in five sheets at a scale of 5 miles to 1 inch. A nationwide index reference grid is used, continuing from one sheet to the next, allowing several or all of the sheets to be mounted together whilst retaining the continuity of the index. This A-Z Road Map of Central England and Wales is a full colour, single-sided, fold-out road map featuring continuous mapping from Bristol and Reading in the south to Blackpool and Leeds in the north, and from Peterborough in the east to include the whole of Wales in the west. The map features: Clear standard road classification colours for easy identification, Full motorway junction detail, Under construction and proposed roads, Primary route destinations, Service Areas, Selected safety camera locations, National and county boundaries. A wide range of tourist and ancilliary information, including Blue Flag Beaches. An index booklet is attached to the cover which lists cities, towns, villages, hamlets and locations featured on the map.
