Susan Ewing has been "in dogs" since 1977. She owned and operated a boarding kennel for four years and enjoys showing and participating in various performance events. She is affiliated with the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America, the Dog Writers Association of America, and the Cat Writers' Association, of which she is treasurer. Susan has been writing professionally since 1964 for newspapers, magazines, and radio. She is the author of German Shepherd Dogs (Interpet Publishing) and A New Owner's Guide to Pembroke Welsh Corgis. Her column, "The Pet Pen", is in The Post-Journal (Jamestown, NY) every Saturday. She currently lives in Mesa, Arizona, with her husband Jim, and two dogs, Griffin and Rhiannon.
