Biografía del autor
Gordon Maxwell is Honorary Professor at the Department of History at St Andrews and is former head of Archaeology at the Royal Commission in Edinburgh. His previous publications include Rome's North-west Frontier (with W.S. Hanson), The Romans in Scotland and A Battle Lost: Romans and Caledonians at Mons Graupius.
