I loved the premise of this book, and Mr. Bossetta's page-turning execution of the narrative was superb. I cried several times while reading it, and found myself lost in the world created in the book for several hours after I was finished reading. The emotional honesty of the characters was very real to me, which I think is a hallmark of a fine young adult book. Hope to read more from this talented author!

When Stephanie called Dean to tell him that Percy had been killed in Iraq, it was the first time he had heard from her since she had told him to 'go to hell' the night of their Senior Prom nearly three years earlier.
