ABOUT SCARS AND SCRATCHES I can t sleep tonight. How could I after the reading of that damn book? I got to talk to this guy who sent it to me without an e-mail address and anything that specify where I can find him. As he said in his book, he is afraid of technology, he wants to get off that train. You know I think he is profoundly damage. He is probably one of those sons of the sun born free and idealist who think they can change the world s destiny just like their ancestors did by nature error. Not even a phone number where I can arrange the words that he merits on a split to eject quickly on a phone card build to suck my money. I got to talk to this Bobb Rousseau. He puts two « b» on his name maybe to impose his speeches and enhance his last name coming from a great French writer inherit in some mistake on an ancient slave trade. Can a name be so strong to transform a slave progeny into a good writer? I got to talk to this guy who puts a mud of trouble on my day of peace, turning my mind into a wheel of fortune where the dollars bills were just torture. I got to talk to this guy to ask him how he can let pour that much tears under 180 virgin pages. You can see the pain; you could cut it with a knife. It gives the reader that something inside that commands him to help a human being in danger, in deep pain, and in distress. This guy sounded in that book like the Christ in scouring. When Jesus and God come or if they would ever come; they would be looking for Bobb Rousseau to make him apologize for hurting his daughter, to his wife, many women, and the humanity. His screams penetrate you like a cold wind. And he continues to hit himself while he implores God to save him. Then he starts talking to his voodoo s roots putting them in front of the scenes, teaching them how to speak the Shakespeare s language. Man, he did well but I got to tell him that when I finished his book I felt so sad and so full of sorrow. I found myself reading it again and between the vowels and the consonants yelling. I finally heard a voice; a voice talking about hope, hope for the poor in Haïti, for peace, for a better world. Wait I can even see a smile, many smiles turning into laugh. The author gets back to the skirt of his mother, to the high five of his many friends and tutor from his country and finally we can see love, happiness, justice. Using the names that stay on his head from his childhood and teenage, he bends them and transforms them into protagonists to help making a way to the stories. Too much talk without anybody listening. I got to write what I think about this book that scratched me softly, tell too many times my story, my suffers, leaving me with new scars, and reminds me the old ones. I got to warn you about this book. You are going to find anyway some of your questions inside and guess what you ll have to answer yourself because those sentences, those stories and poems will follow you all your life whispering in your ears like ghost and maybe someday you will find yourself writing your owns and you ll be like me searching for this guy. I got to find this Bobb Rousseau to tell him he will mark for life any man and woman who live on planet earth with his wonderful book. Until I find this guy; keep on waiting for me. I have to get myself fix back on the pages of Scars and scratches. Dr YVES BOISSONNIERE --Dr. Yves Boisonniere, MD, Movie Producer
