Michael D. LeBow, PhD. is a clinical psychologist and professor of psychology. One of his specialties is helping overweight and extremely overweight people. Dr. LeBow received his masters and doctorate in psychology at the University of Utah where he learned about behavior and cognitive behavior therapy. He's written numerous scientific articles and several books, some translated into Japanese, Spanish, Polish, or German. While a Professor at Dartmouth Medical School, he began using behavioral methods to help overweight and extremely overweight people. He now teaches at the University of Manitoba, Department of Psychology, and lives with his wife and younger son in Winnipeg.
