Bill J. Leonard is the James and Marilyn Dunn Professor of Baptist Studies and Professor of Church History at Wake Forest University Divinity School. Leonard’s research focuses on Church History with particular attention to American religion, Baptist studies, and Appalachian religion. In addition to a variety of articles in journals and monographs, he is the author or editor of some 22 books.
