Iron truly sharpens iron, therefore we need to learn from each other. A lot of people in ministry today were once professionals in some other areas of life, where they were taught how to properly do what they were doing and so they knew HOW TO DO whatever they did; but same people got called into ministry and they feel there’s no need to acquire knowledge for ministry. All sorts of excuses are given: “All I need to know is The Bible.” “The Holy Spirit will teach me all I need to know.” “I have learnt enough in the Bible School, Seminary or School of ministry already.” Anyone who has been in ministry for a while knows that the ministry work is more than reading only The Bible: A minister of God and every success oriented personality needs to know everything about something (as a point of specialty) and something about everything (as a point of progressive growth in life). Temitope Siju-Alex was born and raised in the vicarage as a Seer’s last son; he is a seasoned Teacher and Preacher of God’s word. He entered ministry at an early age and became a full time minister in God’s vineyard in 1993. He is a regular conference speaker in Christian leadership conferences and youth programmes. Temitope is a graduate of CACTS, Ile Ife, WOFBI and DLA among many others. He holds a Diploma in Religious Studies from the University of Ibadan and a practically earned Ph.D. in Church Growth and Leadership courtesy of International Institute Of Church Growth Lagos in affiliation with Fresh Seminary, New York, USA. As a writer, Siju-Alex writes from divine inspiration and a wealth of practical experiences with a strong prophetic and teaching grace as led by God’s Holy Spirit. After over twenty years of Pastoral Ministry and service in several different areas of ministry in the local Church, Siju-Alex presently works as a Missionary to Ministers and Christian Ministries in Europe. He serves as Coordinator for International Church Growth Ministry and Spiritual Education Ministries in Spain. The two ministries provide leadership training and resources for churches in Europe.
