Reseña del editor:
Adorned with the jewels of Eastern philosophy and eloquent Sanskrit, one woman’s story of her quest for life’s meaning unfolds like a poetic story without a script. Her lyrical prose charts a journey from youthful hope to the possibility of wisdom— and even transcendence... Kavita is a novella, a word, a mood, a concept that stems from the Italian Renaissance period. A novella is short, uncomplicated, with no sub-plots, and often intended to be read in one sitting. It explains little, but takes the reader by the hand through a brief story more concerned with personal and emotional development than with any bigger picture or grand-scheme depths. It lounges, too, in more luxuriant descriptions than are found in their big sisters: short stories and small books. Kavita is a Sanskrit word meaning “poetry,” and this novella is a story that unfolds through often raw, personal poems, into the world the author now inhabits and which sings to her in poetic beauty daily.
