Reseña del editor:
"THE PATHWAY TO ISRAELI PEACE" AUTHORED by BRUCE DAVIDSON, WITH A FOREWORD FROM A UNITED STATES CONGRESSMAN --- "The Pathway to Israeli Peace" is a Story of hopeful optimism for the entire world (Twenty-Two Chapters; 322 Pages; 27 Photographs depicting the Spirit of Israel). The novel is written to embrace everyone around the world. Israel is crying out for everlasting peace, and "The Pathway to Israeli Peace" operates on the premise that if all wars cease in Jerusalem, Israel, then, all wars will, in turn, cease from the face of the Earth. War has plagued our world from the very time it came into existence. The unmerciful effects of war have ravaged men, women & children for centuries. Jerusalem has been & will always continue to be center stage for all international affairs. Jerusalem is the City that has been fought over the most. Hence: "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: All they that love her shall prosper." Psalm 122:6 --- The reasons for this struggle over Jerusalem have been thoroughly explained in the novel. The book leaves nothing out concerning Israel's past, present & future. "The Pathway to Israeli Peace," is the result of a recent pilgrimage of the author to his homeland, Israel. "The Pathway to Israeli Peace" focuses on the two protagonists of The Song of Solomon who are madly in love. It also elaborates on how modern day technology & international affairs are affecting everyone's lives today. There is so much division in the world today. Mankind has adequately demonstrated that we have much more of a propensity for destruction and war rather than a longing for peace, employing any primitive weapon that has been available all the way up to the modern day nuclear weapons that we all wake up to every single day. None of the factors or elements of change, whether they be military, political, spiritual, industrial, philosophical, economical, demographic or otherwise, can be excluded in considering the impetus of where we are today. International Affairs today are raging out of control. Geneva Conferences, The United Nations, negotiations, diplomatic efforts and all the various agreements are failing to bring lasting peace. There appears to be no ultimate unity in our world. And the fact that there is no ultimate unity in the world confirms that there also exists no ultimate peace in the world. The luxury of genuine peace appears to be somehow eluding us and slipping right through our fingers. Crossfire, outright hatred and madness have emerged from our varied religious groups. Jews, Muslims & Christians have different and conflicting views concerning Jerusalem, Israel. While well intending Jewish, Islam and Christian communities around the world have attempted to bring about harmony, this hard earned reality of peace has not been achieved, and, therefore, never been fully realized, understood or appreciated in our lives. We don't need any more wars that lead to get more wars. War should preserve and protect the sacredness of obtaining ultimate peace for all people. The Hebrew Bible speaks (prophesies) of a day when peace will ultimately come to those who desire that sort of connection. "The Pathway to Israeli Peace" depicts the paradox between war and romance. Those who truly understand what it means to be in love are determined to protect that love at all costs, even in the midst of war. The protagonists are two people so much in love that they just don't know what to do about it. Their desire is to revel in each other's presence without the interruption of war, which has been tearing them apart in a gut-wrenching fashion. The novel is intended to metaphorically give readers an idea of how life would be if we all lived in harmony. When we are all united, we all live in peace. Is the Pathway to Israeli Peace completely metaphorical or absolute reality? Will Camelot be restored or remain lost forever? Your own personal perspective of the novel, "The Pathway to Israeli Peace," could change your life and the world!!!
Biografía del autor:
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Bruce Davidson's novel, "The Pathway to Israeli Peace," resulted from a recent pilgrimage to his homeland, Israel. This visit refreshed Bruce of Israel's current status. He has been writing since he was a boy. While he is quite capable of writing in the styles of John Steinbeck or Ernest Hemingway, he chose a stylistic direction for "The Pathway to Israeli Peace" that he felt would create the picture he envisioned. The novel borders on metaphorical possibilities and concrete reality. Initially, it started with the thought: "Can we bring forth some sort of unity for the human race in the midst of everyone's different views of politics, morals and religion?" Born in Jerusalem, Bruce grew up in the United States, graduating from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts (USA) with honors, and became very closely involved with F-4 Phantom Combat Fighter Planes in the U.S. Air Force. Bruce's time as an Honorably Discharged United States Air Force Veteran influenced a significant amount of the novel's terminology. He is also interested in international affairs and all the factors of history that have brought mankind to the place where we are right now. Since there are so many problems in the world today, we are all confronted with the probing question of whether there is any hope for peace. Are we going to find peace on a global basis, or are we going to destroy ourselves? Bruce is focused on uplifting others through his writing. He is trying to generate a Spirit that may enhance his readers' personal growth. Upon his arrival to the Valley of Megiddo, during his visit to Israel in October of 2013, Bruce was asked to share a few thoughts over a microphone in regard to the anticipated event of the Battle of Armageddon. Bruce spoke to his listeners of the good king of Israel, Josiah, who lost his life at Megiddo. Then, Bruce made reference to a futuristic war that would bring total victory to Israel and her allies. There are many people who have read "The Pathway to Israeli Peace" and walked away happier for the experience. In fact, it was Bruce's United States Congressman who encouraged him to get the novel published. Bruce sent him the very first copy of the book after it was published as a gift for inspiring him. In return, his Congressman sent him a heartfelt thank you letter acknowledging Bruce's novel to be "a treasured keepsake" that he always keeps right on his desk, which made Bruce feel more honored than any other time in his life.
