As the Jewish population, a minority group, grew and evolved within Boston from the 1920s onwards, so too did the need to support their young people within group activities. The author provides a detailed examination of the extension of group work activities beyond the four walls of an agency and into the wider community, with a particular focus on the provision of meeting places for youth.
