How should we know? We know, because although we have been working as an SAP Cloud development/functional consultant for several years, we have ourselves recently certified with the latest version of the Development Consultant Certification test.

The “SAP Certified Development Consultant – SAP Cloud for Customer” certification exam verifies that the candidate possesses fundamental knowledge and proven skills in SAP Cloud for Customer to develop SAP Cloud for Customer functional enhancements. This certificate proves that the candidate has fundamental understanding within the Consultant profile and is able to apply the associated prerequisite skills practically under supervision of an expert consultant in a project environment.
The exam is Computer based and you have 180 minutes to answer 80 Questions.

So if you have little or no experience, you should get yourself certified, get some project experience, and then the whole of the SAP World open for you to explore.
