If you grew up in the 60's, Vietnam was more than a name on a map and Civil Rights was more than just a history lesson. Southern Rules is the story of young men attending The Citadel and learning to deal with the realities of that era - from first loves to race confrontations to preparing for service in Vietnam and the Hippie counter-culture. The story will make you laugh and perhaps cry on occasion but you will identify with the characters and the crazy world they experienced.
