Mid-Summer Nights, Dreams, and Consequences - Tapa blanda

This creation is my third book that serves as a follow-up to my first that was entitled “Rays of Sunshine from the Hood”. The first book and its publication entailed many challenges and obstacles along the way. This work was compiled in the summer of 2013, but due to the concerns with the first book, this book was completely finished by December 2013. This book however, entails all the strange dreams and odd happenstances that I have encountered over just about a three month span in 2013. The topics in this book range from politics, spirituality, religion, and just about anything that I endured or dreamt about during a very hot summer in the year of 2013. Furthermore, some of the poems are inspired by various times of my life, such as my childhood and my first attempt at college life. I have heard that people tend to act strangely in hot summers, so with this thought, I decided to pen together poems that I would like to share with the world.
