A book for fans of Deathstalker 2 and other Corman barbarian classics. A tale of a foul-mouthed barbarian and a sultry swordswoman. Byron was a simple wandering axe-man in search of nothing more than taverns for ale drinking and buxom maidens to take to bed. In his journey for such treasures he stumbles upon a female of a mythical race, and soon after, an aging wizard. Both of which would need his axe and mace to achieve their common goal: to rid the dying realm of its evil sorceress queen, and to destroy the magical relic that drove her to unspeakable madness. With visions of glory, victory, and possibly countless maidens fawning over him, a reluctant Byron accepts his part in the mission. From there the aimless barbarian falls neck deep into a world of violence, heinous creatures of legend, and evil sorcery that will deceive him every step of the way.
Jeff O’Brien began writing Lord of the Rings fan-fiction at age seven, using mostly crayons and construction paper. Since then he has grown a distaste of fan-fiction and gone on to write ten cult-horror novels and placed several short stories in anthologies along the way. The Sorceress Queen is his debut in the genre of Barbarian-Fantasy, where he plans to stay until his well of tales runs dry. Jeff now resides in Dover, New Hampshire in a modest Hobbit-Hole with his wife and a passel of dogs.
