The Advocate traces the cry from Job in the Old Testament who asks for a mediator to stand between himself and God. The book traces the answer to this plea and deals with the blood sacrifice of goats, bulls and lambs, the institution of Passover and the appointment of a priesthood to stand between God and man. The books sets forth how Jesus Christ fulfills Job's request for a mediator and how Jesus acts both as sacrifice and High Priest.

Ernest Jett has been an attorney for over forty years. He has worked for three Fortune 500 Companies and retired from his last position as Sr. Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. In his capacity as General Counsel he supervised numerous in-house and outside attorneys. Mr. Jett has practiced law in the States of Missouri and Texas and also is licensed to practice before many courts including the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Jett has specialized in business transactions having successfully completed over 100 acquisitions and dispositions. He is also experienced in International Law having served on an International Law Journal at a major university and having negotiated and completed acquisitions and dispositions in many countries across the world. In addition to a law degree, Mr. Jett has a Master of Arts in Medieval History and double majored in History and Greek.
