John is a 25 year veteran of the tourism and hospitality industry serving as Executive Vice-President of Tourism Montreal, one of North America’s most avant-garde destination marketing organizations and as Vice-President of Sales & Marketing for Atlific Hotels & Resorts, Canada’s premiere hotel management company, overseeing all sales & marketing strategies for the companies 32 Canadian hotels. A leading figure in the tourism and hospitality industry, John has lent his expertise to several industry boards such as; the Tourism Industry Association of Canada, The Canadian Hotel Association, The Canadian Society of Association Executives– Quebec chapter, is a founding member of Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International–Canada Chapter, 1st Vice-President of Destination Marketing Association of Canada and an industry adviser to the Canadian Tourism Commission. Having worked in close collaboration with the world’s leading hotels brands, several destination marketing organizations, convention centre and national and international associations, John has developed a keen understanding of current issues facing the hotel and tourism industry both domestically and internationally.
