Ken Whitley is a decorated war veteran who did three tours in Vietnam. He won the Distinquished Flying Cross medal among other honors. He was proud to serve his country, but also wanted to atone for the slaughter he caused in Asia. After the war he worked in Saudia Arabia as well as Africa. He finished up his flying career as a Medivac pilot--something of which he was very proud as well. He kept count of all the lives he helped save.
