This book is a collection of some of my favourite recipes. The first chapter is basic baking with simple easy to follow recipes. these are base recipes that you can add to and enhance the final product. The secod chapter is more pastry work where a little bit of though and construction of the cake is involved. These recipes are easy to follow and with a little bit of artisic flair your final product could be amazing. This is my first book and it's not War & Peace. but I'm sure you will enjoy making these recipes as they all do work and the instructions are easy to follow. Kevin has been a baker and pastry chef for more than 28 years. This was long before baking became fashionable. He started out working in a small family bakery not far from where he lived. This was a small establishment making traditional baking goods. He then went onto work in a small artisan bakery in Whitley Bay. He worked his way up to Bakery Manager at quite a young age. He then went to work in Berkshire at the acclaimed Cliveden Hotel. He worked here as night baker/pastry chef. From here Kevin then went to work in the private sector as a private chef for a wealthy family in the Berkshire area. After a number of years Kevin left this post and moved abroad to the Middle East. He worked as an Executive Pastry Chef for a local company and looked after several establishments, winning numerous awards. He then moved back to the UK and has taken time out to write down some of his favorite recipes to share with everyone.
