2013: A Year in Poetry is the creation of Julie Zeigler Wood's desire to bring poetry back into her life on a daily basis. She challenged herself to write one poem each day of 2013, resulting in 365 poems on varying topics from love and relationships to the weather and the mundane.

Julie Zeigler Wood has been a poet since childhood, publishing in literary journals, magazines, and greeting cards. Her latest adventures include self-publishing, her first collection "Strings Attached" and now her current collection "365: a Year in Poetry." In addition to writing, Julie is a self-employed Occupational and Massage therapist with two business degrees. She resides in Central Ohio with her husband and their two dogs. Her hobbies include reading, cooking, writing, and spending time with family and friends. Her hope is that her poetry inspires others along their way.
