The purpose of this bi-lingual English / Spanish story appropriate for primary school age children is to teach tolerance for those who are different from themselves. The appeal of this story is the Tabby cat and bat characters through whose eyes young people will visually and emotionally relate and discover respect for animals, nature and each other. El propósito de esta historia bilingue para los niños en edad escolar primaria es eseñar la tolerancia para aquellos que son diferentes a ellos. El atractivo de este libro son los personajes del gato y el murciélago através de cujos ojos jovenes visualmente y emocionalmente relacionarse y descubrir respecto a los animals, la naturaleza y la gente.
Biografía del autor:
Anita de la Cruz graduated from Temple University Tyler School Of Fine Art BFA/M.Ed. in Philadelphia, PA where she taught all-level Art in the Public School System. She also taught Art In Puebla, Mexico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Anita eventually returned to Austin, TX where she taught Art and Spanish in private and public schools and Calligraphy at the University of Texas. Anita presently lives in Round Rock, Texas where she is a full-time visual artist and part-time Spanish instructor. Anita de la Cruz se graduó de la Universidad de Temple, Tyler School of Fine Art, BFA/M.Ed en Philadelphia, PA. Ella enseño el arte de todos niveles en Philadelphia, Puebla, Mexico, Islas Virgenes y Texas donde vive ahora.
