Here for your entertainment: The Cave Girl!
This is a novel made up of two stories. The first was "The Cave Girl" originally published in All-Story Weekly Magazine back in 1913. The second part is "The Cave Man" originally published in the same magazine a few years later in 1917. Together, they form the adventure of Waldo Emerson Smith-Jones, a mama's boy in poor health, who is swept overboard on a voyage intended to help him get well. Instead, he finds a lost world, and meets Nadara, the Cave Girl. Fun action, as you would expect from Burroughs.
Edgar Rice Burroughs (1875-1950) was an American writer best known for creating Tarzan and John Carter. He wrote science fiction, fantasy, adventure, westerns, and others. His work influenced so many people, it would be impossible to name them all, but the list includes James Cameron, Ray Bradbury, Robert A. Heinlein, Michael Crichton, Carl Sagan, George Lucas, Jack Vance, and others.
