You Are Everything: The Little Book of Knowing Who You Are - Tapa blanda

This is a short little book to remind you about who and what you really are. If you are familiar with Jiddu Krishnamurti, Nisargadatta Maharaj or Ramana Maharshi, then you may have heard this message. It is not my message. It is the timeless message of the great Spiritual Masters of Advaita, non-duality, yoga and Kundalini. It is what is discovered in deep meditation and Self-inquiry ("Who am I?"). This book is my humble attempt to once again bring the eternal Truth about who and what you really are into the conscious awareness of a special and deeply spiritual person like you. I use everyday language and beautiful photographs from Nature to speak to you in a simple contemporary way. This message is timeless, yet it is right Now. If you are ready, if you are ripe, you will recognize that i am talking about you. You know who you are. I am just reminding you. It is what friends do. This is a short book. It is short on purpose. For one thing, it does not have to be any longer than it is. Also, what I am about to say has been said before. But I am going to say it in a different way. Maybe you will hear it this time more clearly than you did last time. What I am going to tell you is the ultimate secret of life. Though this secret is the greatest secret of all, it is completely free. I am about to tell you the ultimate truth of who and what you are. Because you are already this, there is nothing you have to do to be it. You are already it. You are already your true self. You are already that. However, there is one little problem. You do not know this.

When I was 16 years old and living in a suburb of Los Angeles, California, I had a lucid dream that changed my life. In this dream, I was in India. I was with a yoga guru who spoke to me in Sanskrit. He took me through many hatha yoga postures, then I ended up sitting in padmasana, in lotus posture. Then next thing that happened was literally mind-blowing. Everything exploded and my sense of separate self that I had been feeling in the dream dissolved totally and completely into a blissful peaceful Ocean of White Light. Fast forward to my encounter with Ramesh Balsekar in Solana Beach, October, 1989. I saw him later at several group meetings. This first time was at “Joe’s Crab Shack" with about 50 people. I have never loved a man like I loved him. I felt that he was my spiritual father. I love my biological father totally, yet the spiritual connection with Ramesh transcended everything. The feeling was like an ocean of love. I would cry and cry tears of joy. In 2006, the Kundalini completed Her journey to the Crown chakra. A secret passageway from the Crown down to the Heart on the right called Amrita Nadi was revealed to me. The awakening of Amrita Nadi has been described as "the light of a thousand suns." The world turns translucent and disappears in a blaze of Divine Light. When the world returns, it is not the same world. That world is gone forever. There is only the one supreme Self. You can still perceive the world and function in the world, but for you the world is literally the universal Self. I am reminded of the spontaneous Kundalini event of 1966. I have come full circle. The Light that was revealed in 1966 was the Light that was realized in 2006. In 2012, I moved to San Diego and began giving public Satsang.
