She has taught event-planning courses for staff at the University of Michigan and Michigan State University. Lynne is past president of the University of Michigan's University Event Planners organization. She is also a member of the Religious Conference Management Association and All Things Artistic Ministries, Inc. Christian Writers. Lynne attends Greater Grace Temple-Taylor in Taylor, Michigan under the pastorate of Bishop Gary Harper.
