Rafael González Maldonado is, among other things, a neurologist. Here he uses a new perspective to discuss Parkinson's disease, combining through knowledge with pleasant reading. He believes that scientific rigor should be accompanied by an esthetic sense, and that the truth, besides being true, is fun. Doctor of Medicine, specialist in Neurology and Internal Medicine, he was an Honorary Research Fellow at the Royal Free Hospital in London. At present he is Head of the Neurology Service of the Hospital Clínico of Granada, Associate Profesor of Medicine, and member of the “F.Olóriz” Neuroscience Institute, He also has a private medical practice. In his spare time, he writes and lives.
