Babatunde and the Whiteman is a story describing the experiences of a schoolboy in Northern Nigeria who got admission into school too late and this ignited unpleasant encounters with a white school teacher whose reputation for bullying students in his black book was not unpopular. Babatunde's experience is an encouragement to all but especially those who were not privileged to start formal education on time that it is never too late to learn. It is also motivating to those who are thinking of quitting school out of victimization by certain school/subject teachers to focus on the essence of their being there and to keep going. The real story has gone through some modifications to bring it further to life. Enjoy your reading.
Biografía del autor:
Bolurin Falola is an aspiring writer well-known for his humorous writing style. Some of his writings have appeared in school yearbooks. He has a bachelor's degree in Banking/Finance from the Lagos State University where he was a member of the Creative Writers Association. He is an Alumnus of the School of Media and Communication, Pan Atlantic University (formerly Pan African University), Lagos, Nigeria. He is also an Associate of the Institute of Capital Market Registrars. He was once a 2nd prize winner Association of Nigerian Authors prize for poetry performance. He has done some freelance writing of poems, articles and stories for others. He is also the creator of the facebook entertainment group 'PenTalks Episodic Stories'. This is his first published work.
