After a night out on the town reveals that she is the ‘Designated Fat Friend’, or DFF, a young woman successful in her career but unlucky in love embarks on a journey to shed pounds in order to pick up a man, and perhaps find happiness as well.

Robert Bledsoe is a native of Chicago. He is president & CEO of Great Nebula Productions, LLC. He holds Master's degrees in English and Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor's degree in English from Gustavus Adolphus College. He has written for the magazines of World Wrestling Entertainment and for the Chicago Defender, in addition to interning at NBC in Chicago and CNBC in London. He has authored a book of poetry, Centennial. He is also the author of the forthcoming, The Black Elephant in the Room: How Barack Obama Unwittingly Put African Americans in Play for the GOP. Plus Size is his first stage play for a commercial audience. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
