Reseña del editor:
THIS RETIRED TITLE IS NOW AVAILABLE IN A SECOND EDITION UNDER THE TITLE: "MAN HUNT: MAN HUNT #1" In the North Pacific Ocean there is an island that has been forgotten by mankind. Living there are men who have committed all manner of moral crimes. Deceived by an elaborate ruse, they wake deep within fortress walls where they are tortured, brainwashed, and then trained to physical perfection. When they are finally released to the island's hills and abandoned streets, they are told one simple rule: Survive long enough and you will be sent home. The island's only other inhabitants are women. In "Man Hunt", survival of the fittest means being literally hunted. It is "Lord of the Flies" meets hard-core feminism, because it tells both sides of the story.
Biografía del autor:
Keith Edwin Fritz entered this world on Halloween Day, 1974, the same year Stephen Edwin King published his first novel. Keith prefers to think neither the date nor their middle names were a coincidence. As a pre-teen, Keith used his uniquely apropos 'HallowBirthWeenDay' to monopolize the local trick-or-treating industry. This behavior hasn't changed as an adult, though he no longer brings two bags when he goes. Keith found his love for reading in high school and began writing his own stories in college. As his passion for writing became more serious, he decided upon the pen name of K. Edwin. Initially thinking it simply sounded cooler, today he feels a certain connection to his above-mentioned idol, but more importantly to his grandfather Edwin Fritz, whom he never met and he credits for his creative genes. Today K. Edwin teaches Language Arts to middle schoolers and writes to his heart's content during his "spare time". The best of these moments are nearly always by moonlight. The worst of them are also by moonlight. Keith and his wife, Corina, live in Skillman, NJ where she co-owns a bakery. It seems he is still monopolizing sugary treats.
