We, as a species, have been blessed/cursed with the creativity and intelligence inherent in this phenomenal gift of mind. It has given us dominion over the natural world and set us above all the other creatures we share this planet with. But in so doing, it has isolated us in a world of our own making, one that has imprisoned and so, restricted our awareness to a purely mind-based, ego oriented, assessment of life. Within the confines of that lower frequency perspective, hope and all that hope would promise have had to substitute for the fulfillment a full awareness of this Moment is offering. Giving Up Hope will introduced to the Higher Knowledge and to the truth that will set you free. Allow its wisdom to help end your banishment and free you from the illusion of your mind-based perspective. It will educate, inspire, and uplift the egoic mind to the higher frequency of our Source and Creator. It awaits you here, in this, the ever present Now Moment, within the silent stillness of your own very Beingness.

Steven was unceremoniously awakened from this dream of life in late January of 1967 while on a weekend pass from his duties in the US Army having been drafted for the Vietnam war. A "spontaneous Kundalini rising" would radically alter his perceptions leaving him a confused and frightened stranger in a world he could no longer recognize or relate to. And so began his spiritual journey and search for meaning outside the confines of his once familiar egoic life. Years would pass before he was able to integrate this new way of being into his everyday activities and so come to an understanding of the sacred role we all play in this most precious gift we know as life. In 1969 Steven was asked to direct the Spiritual Regeneration Movement in NYC. There he also lectured and taught Transcendental Meditation well into the 1970's until he found the movement going in a direction he, in good conscience, could no longer partake in. He would leave the movement and return to his vocation as a carpenter but would never give up his quest for a deeper understanding of that initial Kundalini experience. Steven has sat with and shared his thoughts with a host of masters to include; Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Gopi Krishna, Eckart Tolle, Gangaji, Charlie Lutes, Muktananda and Richard Moss. He has lived his life as a householder and raised three fine sons with his wife of over 30 years. He now resides in Sarasota Florida where he continues to write, teach and lecture on the importance of becoming present to the miracle of now in Consciousness that is indeed this, the Now Moment.
