E.R.Michaels is the author of the A'va Trilogy. She lives in the beautiful state of Oregon, with her husband and three boys. In 1998 she graduated from the Institute of Children's Literature. After writing several short stories over a twenty year time span, she decided to turn one of them into a novel. Six years in the making, A'va: The Journey from Tianya was published in December of 2010. The second book in the trilogy, A'va: The Quest for Finny,was published in July of 2012. The series will be concluded with A'va: The Battle for Nadisia, currently in the works (release date tba).
