I have always had a hard time finding the words to say when I pray, especially, when the Pastor would call on me to say the benediction prayer at the end of service. I had a personal prayer life with God, I just didn’t think that people in the church would understand my way to pray. I always prayed as though I was really there face to face with God. I talked to Him the same way I would anyone else, but I didn’t want the church members to think that I was being disrespectful to God by the way I would speak to Him. There were many times, that I would ask God to teach me to pray an out-loud prayer for church. There were things that the Holy Spirit had to show me in the Word of God and in my spirit to help me understand how to pray. One day I was reading a book about prayer and I learned the “Five Principles of Prayer.” I never knew that there were principles that I had to follow when I prayed. Shortly after learning the principles of prayer, I realized that they really worked. Then I set out on a conquest through the Bible to find as many principles for prayer as I could! The Word of God is full of principles! It was from that point in my life that I dedicated my life and ministry to searching for lost souls and teaching Christians to pray the Bible way!
