Kathryn Lang lives and writes in a little cabin in the woods in North Alabama. Her encouragement and support (and often her materials) come from her loving children and husband. Her passion for helping others find a life of peace and joy have provided her with opportunities to share her own encouragement in words both written and spoken. Kathryn says it best: "My heart always leaned towards writing - but my grandmother warned me that authors were called "starving artists" for a reason. I ended up getting a degree in Leisure Services which is worse than being an artist in North Alabama (and the irony has NEVER been lost on me). I returned to my first love in the fall of 2004 when I landed a regular column in a regional paper. Each year has provided a new step in the path to my passion. My goal is to find avenues to help others discover their own passions so that they can experience living life in peace and joy no matter what circumstances the world might throw their way." Kathryn continues to write a regular column of good, positive and uplifting thoughts and inspirations.

A life of peace and joy may seem like a dream. Taking a few simple steps, one day at a time, can ignite the possibilities for a life driven by passion and strengthened by faith and purpose.
