The filmmaking process outlined in this workbook is the exact one followed by professional filmmaker Christopher Michael Roybal and has been successfully followed by numerous students to create diverse, exciting and interesting films.

Christopher Michael Roybal was born and raised in El Valle de Arroyo Seco, New Mexico. In 2002, Roybal enrolled at the University of Southern California, where he studied under elite industry professionals while attending the prestigious Annenberg School for Communication and USC School of Cinematic Arts. In 2006, he graduated with honors while earning degrees in Communication and Cinema-Television and then promptly relocated back to New Mexico, where he founded his production company, Incredible Films. Roybal has written and directed various projects in New Mexico while working to establish a truly self-sustained local film industry and provide film education and training for local youth. Roybal intends to remain in New Mexico while developing his many projects and enriching the state through his art and outreach.
