I See the Glory of God - Tapa dura

There was a time that I felt so alone, dismayed, and had so many days of loneliness; I remember as a child that I would make things up and write poetry to encourage myself, and I found so much joy that would fill my heart. I remember being told that all poetry had to rhyme and it was not easy to write. I know now that poetry comes from the heart, mind, and soul; it's the thing that you tell yourself to be encouraged, and to share with a friend, being told as a child you can't write good enough for that, who's going to read it any way, why don't you do something else, it takes a special person to do something like that. To God, I was that special person.
