Reseña del editor:
Beautifully written, heartwarming, and passionate, Cell War Notebooks draws us into a world many are familiar with. Recorded as a blog during a period of seven months, Cell War Notebooks is both a sensitive and brutally honest account of life with cancer. An essential read for people coping with the disease, and for the family and friends who support and love them, it's the deeply motivating story of a battle Julie Forward DeMay is determined to win. One of few memoirs written about cervical cancer, her inspirational journey was published for many reasons, one of which was to create a general knowledge of the seriousness of high-risk HPV. Sadly, parents, school administrators, and even some health care professionals are unaware of the critical impact of the virus, and have therefore been slow to educate teens about the preventative vaccine, and the importance of annual Pap tests.
