On October 30, 1978 the author Gary L. Rodgers became a born-again believer in Christ. During his lifetime he has had the privilege to sit under some very devout and awe inspiring men of God who have helped to develop his Christian walk. Through the power and conviction of the Holy Spirit, God's presence became very real to him. He has witnessed a life changing miracle in himself and others through God's salvation and grace and has always desired in some way to be a blessing and help to others. As a Christian he has faced his share of struggles and trials and says that if he has learned nothing more about being a Christian, he has learned that you cannot get so far away from God's love that there is no road of recovery leading us back to him. Mr. Rodgers has lived most of his life in the south central portion of the state of Pennsylvania, where he has always enjoyed the changing seasons. As a young boy his life was a wonderful experience of roaming through the forests and open pastures of his beautiful country setting. Now that his family has grown and he is in his retirement years, Mr. Rodgers now pursues his heart's desire to serve the Lord through a writing ministry. Sharing his experiences and those of others that he has befriended has become a joyful treasure of memories. The author's goal is to finish strong in his Christian faith, actively sharing the good news that Jesus saves, and to be an encouragement and strength to those that are either struggling or beginning their Christian walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.
