Reseña del editor:
Towards the end of the Civil War a large number of gold payroll shipments from both sides of the Mason Dixon Line have mysteriously disappeared. In the confusion inherent of war, either side thinks the other is to blame. But General Grant holds the quiet persuasion that an unknown third party has masterminded a plan to use the acquired funds for some purpose that poses a threat to the reunification of the Union. He secretly sends out a group of his finest men, led by an aging but still gifted Henri Mueller, to locate the missing gold, find out who took it and why.
Biografía del autor:
Curtis Von Fange began writing for fun in early 1998. His first article related a memorable experience from childhood about panning for gold with his father. It was published in Gold Prospector magazine a year later. Encouraged by his success, he went on to create over one hundred stories in various genres for hardcopy publications and online webzines.
Curt currently lives east of Colorado Springs with his wife and overprotective Australian Shepherd. He is semi-retired and spends a few days a week as a heavy equipment mechanic for a local contractor. The rest of the week is a potpourri of working on his property, helping his four grown kids with their projects, and spending time keeping up with his wife s busy activities.
