John W. Reilly, DREI, is a member of the New York, California, Hawaii, and Federal bar, and is a licensed real estate broker in Hawaii and California. He has been an adjunct professor of real estate law and an instructor for both salesperson and broker classes. He is author of the leading text on agency, Agency Relationships in Real Estate and co-author of Questions and Answers to Help you Pass the Real Estate Exam (with Paige Bovee Vitousek and Tim Meline), Agency Relationships in California Real Estate (with Martha R. Williams), and Texas Real Estate Agency (with Donna K. Peeples and Minor Peeples, III). Marie Spodek, DREI, consulting author, was awarded the first Jack Wiedemer Distinguished Career in Real Estate award in 2001 by REEA. She served three terms on REEA’s board of directors and became a Distinguished Real Estate Instructor (DREI) in 1998. Marie has authored several books and supplements for Dearborn Real Estate Education, including Environmental Issues in Your Real Estate Practice, Manufactured and Modular Housing (with Steve Robinson), and was contributing editor for Real Estate and Taxes! What Every Agent Should Know and Property Management. She was project manager for Dearborn’s state-specific Exam Prep series in 2001, and in 2002 and 2003, she edited the Real Estate Basics series.
