This book is a continuation of the author's quest for good government: responsive, responsible, representative, and effective. In a democracy, People are sovereign. This study devoted to U.S.A. follows similar study of judicial system of India: Judicial Systems of the Third World: The Case of India. ISBN 1-4033-3975-5-7-9, Library of Congress Control No.: 2002092375. The author undertook the present study of Colorado court system after finding major discrepancies in the published laws and their actual compliance in courts. Based on actual civil and criminal case studies, it was focused when images of Abu Gharaib and Guantenamo Bay prisoners subjected to sexual, mental, and physical abuse were flashed by the electronic media. Equally bad news items of a New York innocent youth suffering imprisonment of 27 years and rape of a lady officer in Air Force Academy Colorado followed. The author believes that the Declaration of Independence established a new religion of democracy for all human beings. This religion paraphrases what is taught by Gita, Guru Granth Sahib, and other scriptures of Hindu religion. The concepts of good government in a democracy dictate inter alia that government is a means to secure the unalienable rights of the People against all odds-including bias and discrimination on account of race, religion, color, gender, age, ethnicity, profession, etc. These considerations should not count in a democracy established in essence and spirit -as the paradigm of Hamburger in U.S.A. and Vadapaav in India envisages. The book also presents the LCM and HCF Codes for the purpose of aggregation of the interests of diverse types of individuals in a vibrant democracy. Biografía del autor
Dr. Kishan K. Khanna is a versatile, qualified engineer with excellent academic degrees in Electrical Engineering., Electronics and Aeronautical Engineering, and two doctorate degrees, one Ph.D. in Public Administration from Kent State University, Ohio, U.S.A. and another Ph.D. in Law from University of Bombay, India. Dr. Khanna has served as a highly successful administrator in the higher civil service of India, practiced as a management and technical consultant, and taught graduate courses in Management in India's prestigious Business Management Institutes. Dr. Khanna has also taught Public Administration at graduate level at Northern Illinois University and Kansas State University, and under graduate level at Kent State University and University of Phoenix. Dr. Khanna has published several books on Business Management and Public Administration including Executive Psychosis, Executive Decision Making, Logistics Management, Proactive Bureaucracy,
