Reseña del editor:
South Florida: a place of exoticism, beauty, and transience. For those who live and work there, a place of quiet desperation amidst the glimmer of paradise. This collection reveals lost dreams and hope renewed. From houses of worship, across the corners of the adult industry, through the eclectic nightlife, the lives of those who populate the area bring forth a new view of paradise.Rick, a failed rock star, is stuck headlining a house band at a tourist resort in the keys trying to reinvigorate his life through a lifelong love of music and his new love. Tiffany, a bartender with the South Beach club scene at her fingertips, shakes the yoke of the never ending party through the inspiration of a new career as an artist. As Susan, a single mom stripper finds a place of happiness in the church where she signs her daughter up for school, her co-worker Betty slips into a relationship of addictive co-dependency with their manager Aaron. Vic, a pastor of the same church discovers the fragility of his charmed life, while TJ, a charter boat captain learns the truth of his. They are the faces that serve the millions that vacation there; often trying to figure out how to get through to tomorrow.
