Author and attorney Richard Stim is a member of the cult band, MX-80 which has been cited as an influence by a wide range of artists from Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth to recording artist Steve Albini. In addition to performing and recording with MX-80 and Angel Corpus Christi, Richard Stim specializes in small business, copyrights, patents and trademark issues at Nolo and has authored many books, including Profit From Your Idea and Patent, Copyright & Trademark. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
