Dieselbe will in literarhistorischer Hin sicht die Entstehung der theologischen Summa, ihre zeitliche und sachliche Stellung im gesamten thomistischen Schrifttum und ihre geschichtliche Nachwirkung bis zur Gegenwart zeichnen. Sodann will diese meine Einführung.
