He graduated at Christ's Church, Oxford, and as he appears to have entered into the ministry very early, and was soon distinguished in his ho ly vocation, in 'a very conspicuous manner; it is but fair to infer, that from a child he knew the Scriptures, and that the instructions of a pious father, had produced in him, under the blessing of?
