Reunidos porfin, los datos necesarios, nos ha sido preciso disponerlos de la manera que la índole especial de los mismos requiere, y dar a nuestro trabajo una forma sencillamente expositiva ora clasificando con escrupulosa nimiedad los restos antiguos ora acumulan do los comprobantes para la mejor 801110101] de los asun tos diseutidos o dudosos. Hemos procurado guardar en la narracion de los sucesos el posible órden cronológico, y aumentar el interés de esta Noticia publicando cuantos objetos importantes (muchos de ellos inéditos) conoce mos procedentes de las ruinas deemporion, o relaciona dos con la historia de esta ciudad sin presumir por ello sea completo nuestro trabajo que esperamos dará lugar a nuevos estudios y descubrimientos, los cuales llenarán sus vacíos, corregiran sus errores y eonducirán en último resultado a la mejor ilustracion de la historia particular de Emporion y aun de la general de nuestra Patria.
