This biography follows the Agnew lineage from its Norman origins, through centuries of military exploits, devout religious practice, and physical stature. The author draws connections from Dr. Agnew's Norman ancestry to his own traits and accomplishments. His family was prominent in the early settlement of Pennsylvania and had a history of producing notable figures. Although this book focuses on Dr. Agnew, the author provides insight into the broader context of the Agnew family in American society, their motivations for immigrating from Scotland, and their individual contributions to the United States in its early years.
